Back from Portugal Retreat
We are just back from an incredible 3 night retreat at the newly opened Vermelho Hotel, owned and designed by Christian Louboutin. Just an hour from Lisbon, this peaceful space with its incredible staff and spa, hosted myself and 8 students for an indulgent retreat.
A 90 minute dynamic morning practice, incredible brunch, loads of optional daytime activities, an evening candlelight yin practice, and friendly gourmet dinner, were all on offer to participants. Manduka yoga sponsored personalized mats and accessories, and even offered some surprise gifts ! Sponsor Kama Ayurveda offered a lovely workshop on the doshas and gifted us some indulgent oils and creams so we were glowing by the end of this retreat.
What I loved about this group was their openness, humor, and easy-going spirit. We were half women, half men, including three couples ! Everyone had a blast and came out feeling refreshed and more confident in their yoga practice.
Vermelho hotel, with it’s 13 luxury rooms and a Michelin starred restaurant, was the perfect place to escape for these three magical days.
